Kimberly Abkin Brice specializes in commercial transactions across the country. Her primary clients are real estate and corporate attorneys who represent clients who develop, buy, sell or refinance properties throughout the U.S. Kim works very well with attorneys since she was a civil litigator in a prominent Santa Barbara law firm and a criminal defense attorney with the Santa Barbara Public Defender’s office. Kim sympathizes with the extreme time pressures attorneys’ face and, therefore, is always available to assist them – even on the weekends.
Prior to joining Fidelity’s National Commercial Services Division in 2003, Kim was Assistant General Counsel with Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (NYSE:FNF). FNF is the parent company of Fidelity National Title, Chicago Title, Alamo Title, Lawyers Title and Commonwealth Land Title. As Assistant General Counsel, Kim was responsible for meeting with and retaining law firms nationwide to defend its insureds in complex claims matters.
I specialize in commercial transactions across the country, helping my attorney, principal and lender clients close their real estate deals with the support of Fidelity’s title and escrow professionals.
While Kim does have a love of the law, she is quick to tell you how exciting it is to close commercial (especially hotel) transactions. However, the stories of burglary, battery, drunk in public, possession and sale of drugs, among others are quite entertaining.
Kim graduated from U.C.L.A. with a B.A. in political science and received a J.D. from Santa Barbara College of Law. She is married with one boy and two girls – Shannen, Charlotte and Harper.
